[00:00:00] Welcome to the average nineties GAL podcast. Join me as I share my own journeys through life, how I got and continue to get through them, as well as real stories from real people in this crazy world. Let's get through it together.
Hello and happy March equinox to you. Today is equal day and night, and it doesn't matter which hemisphere you are in. You is a time for beginning. The spring or beginning the fall, and either way, it is an initiation into the next, uh, season. And it's a time to welcome whatever [00:01:00] season you are heading into.
And if you were listening to my December solstice episode, I mentioned that the solstice is a great time to set intentions and look at that as a new year as well. And. That the equinoxes are a great time to do a check-in because they are three months from the solstice. So it has now been three months since the December solstice, and then there will be the June solstice and then there will be the next Equinox in September.
And it really is a great way to. Utilize those 90 days between to check in with any intentions that you have set, whether that was in December, whether that was in the new year, [00:02:00] or if you haven't done that at all. If you don't do that type of thing, great. Do do you, I love using these days as just a way to say to myself.
Have I been moving forward with my intentions? Has there been something that just isn't working? Is there something that is working? Do I want to change my intentions? Did that intention that I set. Not actually be something that I wanted to do or, hey, I haven't been doing any of it at all, and that is fine.
I am going to start now instead, there are obviously zero rules to any of this, but I love using. What is happening in the universe and in nature and the seasons is a perfect time to start or finish, restart, refresh [00:03:00] all of the reads that we have available to us because we don't need to set a time, we don't need to set a limit, but we can use what the world is giving us as a way.
To jumpstart or continue what it is we would love to bring into our lives, into ourselves, and just create a ritual, habit, whatever it is that you feel you would like to do, that really brings you closer to who you are, into alignment of who you actually are, and if you feel as if you are not moving through your day.
In alignment with yourself and how you want to move through your day, how you want your future to look, eventually, this is an invitation [00:04:00] to do that. The world, the universe is giving us an invitation to do that. So I invite you to utilize this equal day and night. As that invitation and initiation into whatever it is that you want to either continue doing, start doing, or to finish, then this is the perfect time to do it if you are into astrology at all.
This is also the very beginning of Aries season, which is the. Very beginning of the astrological New Year, Aries Jumpstarts, the astrological New Year. So once again, perfect invitation to begin something. And I also love the equinoxes and the solstice and the fact that they are three months apart from each other because 90 days, three [00:05:00] months is also what has been said as the perfect.
I mean, there's, nothing's perfect, right? But if you can continue a habit, a ritual, a system in your life for 90 days, it usually will stick after those 90 days. So I love that the seasons and. Everything that the universe is and the earth is giving us, and nature is giving us is also 90 days until the next point.
And that that's also the amount of time to start a habit and that you will more than likely continue that habit if you do it for 90 days. I just love that that connects like that. Also, we just had a new moon. A New Moon is also another Invi invitation. Sorry, excuse me. [00:06:00] It is another invitation to set new intentions to begin something new, to have a refresh and a reset.
If there is something that you did begin in December or January and you are crushing it, congratulations. That is. Amazing, and you should celebrate that today. Celebrate yourself and celebrate that you have continued what you wanted to do when you decided to do it. So I invite you to celebrate. That today as well.
This doesn't have to be about starting something new. This can be about a continuation and just having that check-in with yourself of how things are going. Do you need any tweaks? Do you need to add or subtract anything that you have started? This is a perfect time for that [00:07:00] and of course. For those of us in the northern hemisphere, it is the spring equinox, which really is about, okay, we're heading into more sunlight, heading towards the summer and spring Cleaning is always a thing, and I believe for the autumn equinox as well.
Why not do a cleaning of your home? Get your home ready. Get your space ready for what is coming for the darker days, the winter for the cold. You can do a cleaning for that as well. It is all about getting ourselves and our space energetically ready for what is coming. So one thing I am going to definitely do [00:08:00] is do a deep clean of my home as well as, even though it's supposed to be in the nineties, today, I think I'm gonna take a bath and just really just cleanse myself energetically and physically and do all of that.
As a way to say, okay, let's begin. Let's move forward. Once again, whether you're into astrology or not, it doesn't matter. Air season is just a really great moment to say, let's fucking go. Let's move. Let's do it. It doesn't matter which hemisphere you're in, let's fucking go. This is that. Check-in. How are things going with you?
How are you moving through your day? How would you like to change anything? [00:09:00] And happy March Equinox. I hope you are doing well, and we will check in at the next solstice, which is in June summer for the northern hemisphere and winter for the Southern Hemisphere in three months. So whatever intentions you're setting, we will check in then and see how things are going.
Thank you so much for being here. As always, I appreciate you and I will see you in the next episode. Take care. Bye-bye.
